Bio-Lumière is an ingredient created from luminescent compounds extracted from botanicals. What is l’huile de grace?
L’huile de grace (‘the oil of grace’) is an all-natural essential oil-based restorative moisturizer that nourishes and protects your skin. Designed for both men and women, l’huile de grace penetrates deep into your skin to provide the nutrients and cellular building blocks that enhance your skin’s health while providing a healthful glow and youthful appearance.
What is in l’huile de grace?
L’huile de grace is crafted from 100% natural, cold processed ingredients that have never been heated or chemically altered in any way from their original form.
L’huile de grace contains the very best documented essential oils in the area of skin regeneration and preservation, including certified organic Helichrysum (Corsica), Neroli (Tunisia), and wild crafted Frankincense (Somalia). Additional key ingredients include extract of Sea Buckthorn Berry, Croton Lechleri tree sap (also known as Sangre de Drago) from the Amazonian rainforest, and organic golden Jojoba, Cranberry, and Evening Primrose oils.

How can l’huile de grace help me?

Balances oily skin.
One question we often hear is “I have oily skin, shouldn’t I stay away from putting more oil on my skin?” Actually, oily skin benefits greatly from L’Huile de grace as it protects skin from free radical damage. Also, the numerous and important fatty acids contained in L’huile de grace that the body does not produce on its own will fortify and repair the skin’s natural protective lipid barrier, preventing skin dehydration and loss of epidermal water. Oily skin still gets dehydrated, so using l’huile de grace will be the number one defense in eliminating this problem. Also, oily skin sometimes is problematic and experiences congestion. L’huile de grace helps eliminate future breakouts and heals what might have erupted or is causing inflammation deep in the dermis or on the surface of the skin.
Hydrates dry skin.
People with dry skin will benefit immediately from the essential oils and nutrition in l’huile de grace. Dry skin is by definition deficient in all nutrients. L’huile de grace is imbued with nature’s own Croton Lechleri tree sap, also known as Sangre de Drago. This extraordinary sap from the Amazonian rainforest contains 90% proanthocyandins (OPC’S) which are the most potent class of anti-oxidant compounds. In addition, studies have shown the presence of taspines in Sangre de Drago, unique nutrients that stimulate the migration of the fibroblast cells responsible for tissue regeneration and the production of collagen and elastin. Sangre de Drago activates new growth of healthy skin cells and is best known in the Rainforest as the ‘wound healer’. This tree sap actually rejuvenates the tissue so quickly that deep wounds heal without any trace of a scar.
Another key ingredient in l'huile de grace is the extract of Sea Buckthorn berry, a marvelously rich source of beta-carotene (more potent than carrots) and a rich source of carotenoids and pro-vitamin A and an excellent source of oleic fatty acids.
